Evidently they had some commie pinko liberal designers amongst their marketing crew that managed to get the product on the shelves with executives not fully realizing what was actually being sold.
After a firestorm of criticism, the company apologized and pulled the product. Conservatives criticized the hero worship of a murderous tyrant, and liberals criticized the capitalist merchandising of a socialist figure.
It used to be I was opposed to the mass merchandising of Guevara's likeness over the years, but now I see the irony. Now I believe we should market the hell out of his picture and make as much money in the process. That way, we can use such crass capitalism to give this guy the finger.
