Just when you thought comedian Al Franken couldn't get any wierder, he has announced he will run for the Senate in Minnesota 2008. It seems to me he's been taking Stuart Smalley's "twelve-step affirmations " a little too seriously. He honestly thinks the Heartland people of Minnesota are going to care about his crazed, Marxist liberal moonbat rants. At the very least, conservative satirists are going to have plenty of ammunition.
