A recent article at the Communist News Network discusses how TARP banks are trying to structure their paybacks in such a way as to make certain that taxpayer money covers part of the warrants and guarantees (see the write up here at the Ted Turner Daily Pravda.)
What cracks me up is that the article is written with a certain tone of surprise that such a thing is happening. Jebus H. Jehosephat -- what did people honestly think was going to happen with all of this corporate welfare?
All these years liberals and Democrats have complained about corporate welfare -- yet now they are hailing the worst corporate welfare in history as some kind of "accomplishment" because President Hussein has instituted it?
Once people see how much their taxes are going to rise soon, they are going to take the Tea Party movement more seriously.
