This Guy Is The Real McCoy
I'm going to take a break from my usual right-wing extremism, and post an entry that's a little more moderate. As a matter of fact, I'm even going to provide a link to an article in a liberal publication, believe it or not.
One of the aspects of Conservatism that we often loose sight of is the preservation of things that are wholesome, praiseworthy, and good. This is what has given us the rise of the "Crunchy-Con" movement, or conservative people who wish to embrace things of proven value, even if they're from usually liberal sources.
Let me introduce you to Joel Salatin. [link] He's a traditional farmer, in the sense that he produces things of an organic nature without any industrial process, and refuses to sell his produce and meatstuffs to processors and middlemen. Instead, he sells to individual customers, who often drive many miles to his farm in the deep country-side, and pay larger prices for produce and meat that is heavenly to savor.
So much of Liberalism is tied up in so-called "progress." Maybe it's time we stop and appreciate some of the old fashioned things we've left behind in our march to Socialist Industrialisation and Globalisation.

Up in the Dearborn Michigan area (where three palestinians got off scot-free after being found with 1000 Tracfones and $10,000) the authorities showed up in force to guard an important bridge after these boys threatened it.

The authorities had said there is no reason to believe the boys were involved in terrorism, yet they show up with national guard units to protect the bridge over a holiday weekend.

If they want, I can be a spokesman for them -- I'm not afraid of offending anyone. In fact, I'll take every chance I can to offend terrorists.

I was watching Radio Baghdad (CNN) yesterday, and even though they didn't fully come out and admit their bias, they spent plenty of airtime mentioning the old "Arabic Violence Excuse."
Arabs insist "we don't like American policies in the Mideast region, therefore we support terrorism." CNN, and The Three Sisters as well (ABC, CBS, NBC) just love pumping that propaganda over and over.
Let me say something here -- because I don't like Arabic policies in the Mideast region, does that give me excuse to murder Arabs? Because I protest the Arabs who sympathize with the 911 grinding of 3000 innocent people into hamburger, I have the right to fly an airplane into the Kaaba Stone in Mecca? Because I disagree with communist college professors who say the 911 victims are NOT innocent, I have the right to slit the throats of those professors and dump them in the streets?
What sort of nonsense is that?
If it makes perfect sense for Arabs to murder Westerners over politics, then maybe it makes perfect sense for me to murder Arabic people just because I don't like their politics, either. Maybe we need an American Jihad against Muslims -- maybe we should bring back the Knights Templar and have The Crusades all over again, just like the Arabs are always accusing us of doing anyway.

I think we have found a new weapon in the war on terror.

A young woman of Pakistani origins who is based in Texas participated in a Bikini pageant in China. She insisted she wanted to portray Pakistan in a modern light, because of all the Islamic hardliners there. Naturally, the hardliners are aghast and morally indignant.
I think that instead of troops and artillery, we should literally FLOOD Islamic nations up to the eyebrows with our "decadent" western pop culture. Music, magazines, movies, blue-jeans, the works. Peacenik Moon-bat liberals know that this is going to be a sticking point for them, so they are going to try to sideline the debate on the word by asking "just what is the proper definition of a Fascist, and are the Republicans right to use the term when discussing Islam?"
Even though liberals toss the term about wildly and loosely when they refer to Republicans, all of a sudden they are going to try to narrow the definition when it comes to Islam. Jesus railed against people who "swallow camels and then strain at gnats," and this case is a perfect example.
Although the term itself originated in European politics and the technical definition may refer to a specific set of European style governing principles, I believe the term has been in the public domain long enough now to successfully apply it to a broader definition. Islamic governments often display characteristics of Fascism, whether they admit it or not, including dictators, single party rule, torture, executions, prisons, oppression of ethnic Islamic minorities, mutilation and killing of women, and so on.
In America we have an old saying: "if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it's more than likely a duck." It is also said that "where there is smoke, there is fire."

In my opinion, Islam is The Great Satan, and their governments are nothing more than Fascism. To call them anything else would dishonor all who suffered and died under their rule.
